Hiya, my ice cream nerdicorns. We are in the preliminary stages of my stream launch. I've been delaying it because my allergies have been very bothersome. Talking has caused me much irritation these past two weeks. That's why I've been wearing a mask to my test streams. ~Annnnnd I think it's really cute. So in this time I decided to work on some stream graphics and have created some intro segments for some of the content that I've planned to do. If you aren't aware, I am planning to do content for:

Heroes of the Storm

CSGO

Mukbang

Longboard Dancing

All of this content will be streamed and/or developed into YouTube videos. I plan to stream for the majority of my content. In the case of HOTS, I think I will have a most of the interesting matches cut and uploaded to my Youtube Channel. This includes any gameplay review I have have done on stream. I think it's important for me to create YouTube content and I want to support that as best I can.

CSGO content will be snippets of quirky or cool (what I DEEM IS COOL OKAY!?) gameplay. Most of the Mukbang streams will not be Youtubed, because I think the experience is best served live (no pun intended). And lastly, longboard dancing content will be cut into formalized Youtube content with the occasional live stream at the park.

Anyways, I'm debating on which platform to focus on. Each platform: Mixer, YouTube, and Twitch has different strengths. I want to give Mixer a chance because I really like the platform. But if the audience doesn't want to see my content, I will have to move accordingly. Some questions that are good to ask yourself when picking a platform is: 1. What content do you provide? 2. What content is the general audience hungry for? 3. Does the platform provide the necessary tools for you to succeed in content production? 4. What is your end goal? Financially? Audience size? To sum it up, I feel Mixer had the most intimate connects between streamer and audience. YouTube, provides the all in one platform for streamer and audience alike. Twitch has the largest fanbase and serves the biggest tournaments and esports material. If there was only a dream platform that had it all.
