So Fresh, So Lush

This past weekend, I campaigned with LUSH Cosmetics NYC and I've never felt such love! Last October, I met with LUSH representatives to begin the inner workings of a humanitarian campaign. Over several months, there were several meetings and general correspondence, and what arisen from our vision was a fruitful statement on civil rights.
The main elements were producing a 'Charity Pot', and item designed exclusively for the charities partaking in the campaign and spreading awareness through direct talks and call to actions with our very own NY communities (accompanied by a very delightful scent!)

People are people. No matter how people represent themselves. It doesn't matter their race, identity, orientation, or beliefs. Seeing people based upon the condition of how much we agree with their presentation or choices they have made - is not only unjust, but dangerous to societal health.
I was chosen to work with the LUSH located at 44 W 34th St. After introductions and meeting the store manager Brittany, I set out to drum up discussions on civil rights and highlighting some goals we wished to achieve that day. The team at LUSH was incredibly supportive. We were introduced to Kate (the smiling beauty on the right side of the first photo) to tend to any and all of our needs.

In fact, every store associate show us their love in their own way. I've even caught them setting their own campaign booth outside in the cold weather. Overall, my time with LUSH has been magnificent. The staff at LUSH Herald Square is the embodiment of LUSH. In my short time, that I spent there - I fell in love with the culture and the staff.

And lastly they gave me a parting gift! The scent is seeping out from the present. Tickled Pink Gift Box. Is this how heaven smells like?
